Hey there, I’m Murray Molohon. For more than three decades, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. My journey as a therapist has been one of growth, learning, and above all, a deep commitment to supporting others on their path to healing.
What sets me apart as a therapist is my unwavering belief in the power of connection and empathy. I approach every client with an open heart and a listening ear, creating a safe space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.
Throughout my career, I’ve honed my skills in a variety of therapeutic approaches, from cognitive-behavioral techniques to mindfulness-based interventions. But perhaps what I’m most known for is my ability to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or couple I work with.
Whether it’s helping couples rebuild trust and intimacy, guiding individuals through periods of anxiety or depression, or supporting families in crisis, I’m deeply committed to helping my clients find strength, resilience, and hope.
One of the things I’m most passionate about is working with couples to enhance their relationships. I believe that healthy communication and emotional connection are the foundation of a strong partnership, and I’m dedicated to helping couples cultivate these skills in their own lives.
But my work isn’t just about addressing problems; it’s also about helping my clients discover their own inner resources and strengths. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, and I’m here to walk alongside my clients every step of the way, offering guidance, support, and encouragement as they work towards their goals.
In essence, my goal as a therapist is simple: to create a space where my clients feel seen, heard, and valued, and to support them in discovering the strength and resilience they already possess. If you’re ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, I’m here to help you take that first step.

Murray's Background:
As a Registered Psychologist with a diverse background spanning over two decades, I bring a rich tapestry of experience and a holistic approach to my practice. My journey began with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary, where I cultivated a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
Building upon this groundwork, I pursued further education, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education with a Counseling Major from Foothills Christian College. This unique blend of religious studies and counseling provided me with invaluable insights into the intersection of spirituality and mental well-being.
Subsequently, I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Gonzaga University, solidifying my expertise in providing therapeutic interventions. Armed with this academic background, I embarked on a fulfilling career path that has allowed me to touch the lives of countless individuals and families.
My professional journey has been marked by versatility and adaptability, as evidenced by my roles as both a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Social Worker. For over two decades, I have been a steadfast presence at Alberta Counseling Services, where I have offered compassionate counseling to individuals and couples facing a myriad of challenges.
In my private practice, I employ an eclectic approach, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client. Whether addressing issues of depression, loss, parenting, relationship difficulties, anxiety, anger, or spiritual concerns, I strive to create a safe and nurturing space for healing and growth.
Moreover, my commitment to professional excellence extends beyond the confines of my practice. I have served as a Mental Health Clinician at Foothills Medical Centre, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services. Additionally, I have facilitated training sessions and served as a fee-for-service family mediator, leveraging my expertise to foster positive resolutions in times of conflict.
My dedication to the field of psychology is further exemplified through my involvement volunteer work, and community initiatives. Whether liaising with other psychologists to administer psychological tests, providing crisis intervention on a senior distress line, or facilitating support groups at a drop-in center, I am deeply committed to promoting mental health and well-being at every opportunity.
In summary, my professional background is a testament to my unwavering passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace. Through a blend of academic rigor, clinical expertise, and genuine compassion, I am honored to continue serving as a steadfast ally on the journey towards healing and self-discovery.
