With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Andrea is a warm and deeply experienced Registered Psychologist who works online with adults, couples, and families in Alberta and Ontario. She helps clients with relationship difficulties, anxiety and panic, fears and phobias, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, chronic stress, and recurring emotional patterns that can leave people feeling stuck.

Couples work is an important part of Andrea’s practice. She helps partners understand the deeper patterns underneath recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, communication difficulties, trust concerns, and major relationship transitions. Her integrative approach combines depth-oriented and relational work with practical therapeutic strategies tailored to each client.

Andrea provides counselling fluently in English and Spanish and brings extensive cross-cultural experience from her clinical work in Argentina and Canada. All Best Choice sessions with Andrea are offered by secure online video to clients located in Alberta and Ontario.

Kari is a warm and experienced Registered Psychologist with a particular focus on trauma and PTSD, EMDR, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and stress. She works primarily with adults who want to understand how difficult experiences and longstanding patterns continue to affect their emotions, relationships, and everyday lives.

Kari has completed EMDR training and brings a trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy. She also has nearly six years of specialized Functional Family Therapy experience and continues to work with children, teens, parents, and families when family relationships or behavioural concerns are part of the problem.

Kari is an approved provider for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program. She offers in-person counselling at our South Calgary office as well as online video counselling.

Amy Wu

Amy is a warm and collaborative Registered Psychologist who provides individual and couples counselling for adults in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, stress and burnout, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and the emotional impact of motor vehicle accidents.

Drawing from approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based and trauma-informed therapy, and EMDR, Amy helps clients understand the patterns and experiences that may be keeping them stuck while developing practical strategies for meaningful change. She strives to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

His approach combines emotional depth with practical tools and structured change, with particular focus on relationships and couples counselling, sexuality and intimacy, ADHD, sleep difficulties, and trauma-related patterns.

Jarret has completed Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy and works with couples experiencing recurring conflict, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, infidelity, and relationship transitions. His individual practice is sex-positive and kink-friendly and welcomes clients in consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships.

Drawing on an unconventional background spanning science, art, technology, entrepreneurship, and parenthood, Jarret brings curiosity, practicality, and a non-cookie-cutter approach to therapy. He offers in-person counselling at both our South and North Calgary offices, as well as online video counselling.

Using your insurance shouldn’t make therapy more complicated. We can direct bill more than 30 insurance providers for sessions with our Registered Psychologists, helping reduce paperwork and out-of-pocket costs.
